Don't judge me for my taste in music, okay.
As usual, I did not translate this myself. Translations used were mainly Hazaki no Yume's translation (used in the official video's subtitles, also on VocaDB) and Releska's translation, with a small amount of cross-referencing with the MeaningfulUsername translation found on the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki.
Also as usual, artistic liberties have been taken for flow, singability, vibes, etc. You are warned!
Content warning for lyrics: murder, but less graphic stuff than some other MASA songs? Also vaguely twincesty vibes if you squint, I guess.
A-one and a-two and-- this way, come, come, come on!*
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
A one and a two and-- this way, come, come, come on!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Twin blood sisters are we, bound by a pair of hannya masks
A-one and--!
Elder is a shrinking violet, younger has a sunny smile
That's a lie, they both are me; I'm begging, give her back to me
Swear it on the pussy willow, dead for seven weeks down to the day**
I promise--!
I was good, a saint, and she a demon full of hate
The two of us are flowers in arrangement, hidden in our innocence
The sky, I watch it turning red,
And even this green earth must be stained with it in the end
I hear her coming--
In the night, under the moon, sisters dancing, gone too soon
In the mirror you will see there is only one of me
Bound together, hand in hand, closer than you could understand
Sworn together, stained with blood, this is the kiss of a sisters' love
A-one and a-two and-- this way, come, come, come on!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
A-one and a-two and-- this way, come, come, come on!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Darling dearest daughter, I'm the model of obedience
Two flowers in arrangment hide in picture-perfect innocence
Tomorrow is the day we died, an awful anniversary
The scent of blood, it fills the night, reminding me of her, you see
'Cause we were only one until the world had split us into two
So I decided I would make it right, whatever I could do
"Hey sis, what's wrong, you're scaring me, why do your eyes look like they're bleeding?"
Tell me, was it me? Was it you or was it me, was it--?
You, I see you, painted red
And even my own blue must be stained to match in the end
I hear you coming--
In the night, with bitter hearts, sisters dancing, torn apart
Mirrored in your eyes, I see, I am you and you are me
Drinking up all that you bleed, crying out, "forgive me please!"
Bound together, stained with blood, singing for you all my love
(La la la la la la la, la la la la la la la)
(La la la la la la la, la la la la la la la)
(Lu lu lu lu lu lu lu, u u u u u u u u)
(Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta, o o o o)
(Ah ah ah ah)
In the night, under the moon, sisters dancing, gone too soon
In the mirror you will see there is only one of me
Bound together, hand in hand, closer than you could understand
Sworn together, stained with blood, this is the kiss of a sisters' love
A-one and, a-one and-- Hey, hey, hey, a-one and-- hey, hey, hey!
*The original lyrics here don't really translate directly, but for this particular song it felt odd leaving in the original asore! bits either fully untranslated or only half-translated, and I couldn't resist the urge to add a little "one, two" joke to a song about twins. (Plus the 'this way' part always felt like it was a tad plot relevant...)
These bits are basically (as far as I am able to understand!) traditional taiko drumming chants/calls. A sore seems to be the least literally translatable (sore is literally just 'that'), and then konna is 'this way' (or 'like this'), and saa is just sort of a filler/connector like 'well' or 'so' or 'come on'.
**Fun fact: in Japanese funerary traditions, 49 days is considered to be the time it takes for a spirit to pass on to the afterlife. So basically, the living sister is waiting until juuust after her twin's ghost moves on before actively badmouthing her. This isn't really important to the translyrics, but it's just a funny detail to point out, haha.
